Scuba Rangers classes begin again at Denver Divers on Thursday, January 13. The classes teach children ages 7 to 12 many of the pool skills required for Junior Open Water certification. Kids dive and play games in the pool in pint-sized gear.
Class time is devoted to hands-on demonstrations of some of the simple physicial mechanics of depth and pressure, allowing students to understand what happens to their bodies and their equipment underwater.
On the 6th Thursday afternoon, parents and siblings are invited into the pool to watch their Scuba Rangers perform all the skills learned during the development program.
We then start Rangers Plus February 26th. Rangers Plus is a thorough introduction to all of the skills and academics required for your ten-year-old to become open water certified.
